It featuresaltogether 16 slots: 3 for power supplies, 1 forthe management module and 12 for conversionmodules (up to 4 user interfaces each). Allmodules, controls, connectors and indicators arelocated on the front panel for easy and spacesaving installation (including in dual back-tobackbuilt cabinets). Its light weight allowsinstallation by a single technician. Thecomes equipped with dual load sharing powersupplies while an additional slot allows theinsertion of a third redundant power supply,increasing MTBF. All modules are hot swappable. Even the coolingfans- integrated in the modular PS rather thanfixed in the chassis, are hot swappable. All theseresult in record high MTBF and virtually zeroMTTR. Most of the modules are equipped withFibroLAN's MA™ technology, which allows lowcost management of the remote link partners.SNMP management is provided either by a singlemanagement module or by a combination ofMaster and Slave modules which allow thestacking of up to 8 devices, providing fullmanagement of hundreds of users by a singleSNMP agent. The optional cable organizerfacilitates neat and safe deployment even in thedensest configurations.
