Its copper ports are autosensingto provide easy migration from 10 Mbpsto 100 Mbps transmission rates. Special attentionwas given to allow easy installation andmaintenance: MDI-II/MDI-X switch in eachchannel to eliminate crossed cables, redundantpower-supply, directly removable (hot-swap)power-supply, extensive front-panel diagnosticsand more. It is factory pre-configured and severalS.CON devices can be mixed and stacked toachieve the exact number of channels requiredwhile occupying minimal rack-space.
