The FOM-5A is a sub-miniature version of the FOM-6A, offering all the features in half the size. Innovative circuitry allows the modems to operate without external power, by drawing low power from the DTE data and control signals. The FOM-5A and FOM-6A have a V.24/RS-232 interface and are available with either a male or female integral 25-pin connector.
