The RPT-I is a miniature G.703 repeater for extending the operating range of E1 (2.048 Mbps) or T1 (1.544 Mbps) equipment. The RPT-I supports attenuation up to 45 dB (at 1,024 kbps) for E1 and up to 39 dB (at 772 kbps) for T1. Operating on 22 gauge cable, this represents a distance of 2.2 km (1.4 miles) between repeaters. RPT-I is designed for indoor operation and is supplied in a miniature plastic case. The RPT-I can be powered in two ways: - Telco Simplex line power, using "through" or "loop" power methods - local power, using a battery or a wall- mounted AC power supply The miniature unit is provided with 15-pin female connectors on each port. |
