When operating as part of the RVS, the IPVgate-20A works seamlessly with the RV-SC/IPV IP telephony management system, providing statistics and analysis. The product can also provide IP trunking to any analog PBX and also replace existing PSTN trunks. The built-in VPN IPSec server/client utilizes a 3DES encryption algorithm and up to 10 tunnels per device, creating transparent connectivity of enterprise LANs into a single, virtual one. The IPVgate-20A can provide pulse metering in 12 KHz or 16 KHz to handle analog payphone applications. The analog SIP VoIP CPE product enables connection to any other SIP device by just dialing its number. In case of SIP server failure, it can establish a peer-to-peer phone conversion to ensure high availability of service (AOS). The IPVgate-20A is available with an ADSL modem, which provides ADSL connectivity and line monitoring as well as automatic re-routing to a backup line upon connectivity failure.
