RAD's Airmux-200 is a broadband wireless multiplexer for mobile backhaul over wireless radio, delivering unframed E1 or T1 and Fast Ethernet traffic and supporting maximum throughput of 18 Mbps full duplex. The Airmux-200 ensures service availability by complying with stringent latency, delay variation, and clocking accuracy requirements for voice transmissions. In addition, enhanced security mechanisms guarantee over-the-air traffic protection. The Airmux-200 supports an extended range of up to 80 kilometers (50 miles) between cellular base stations and their controllers, providing a highly reliable solution for mobile backhaul over wireless radio at a fraction of the cost of leased lines or satellite links.
