HSDPA Offload over Wholesale xDSL

Your Needs

Leverage existing IP DSLAM networks to support HSDPA offload over wholesale xDSL services while transporting real-time voice and video traffic over SDH/SONET or ATM infrastructure.

Our Solution

With RAD's advanced RAN gateways, you can minimize the costs of transporting HSDPA data without impacting your voice services. Our ACE-3x00 cell-site and aggregation site gateways enable efficient HSDPA offload over wholesale xDSL services and packet-based networks, using economical transport for HSDPA traffic and allocating costly E1/T1 links only for delay-sensitive applications. RAD's LA-130 DSL cell site gateway also supports a hybrid solution over a mix of DSL technologies, to address diverse service reach and bandwidth needs. It allows voice and high-end services to be delivered over symmetrical SHDSL lines and ATM backbones, while HSDPA and delay-tolerant traffic are transmitted over ADSL2+ and PSN.

Benefits

• Take advantage of widespread copper infrastructure • Utilize scalable, cost-effective broadband transport services • Allow an easy migration to next-generation cellular backhaul with a future-proof solution supporting Ethernet in both the user and network interfaces • Ensure QoS for voice and real-time traffic
